Dr. Florence Little CPsychol
Counselling Psychologist (DPsych)
Counsellor (FdSc)
After completing a degree in counselling from the University of Greenwich, I furthered my training by pursuing a doctorate in counselling psychology at Regent’s University (London). In addition to my title as a counsellor, I have also been awarded the title of ‘chartered psychologist’, which is granted to practitioners who have completed a doctoral program in the United Kingdom.
The modalities covered in these training programs and my professional practice include person-centred therapy, Gestalt therapy, existential-phenomenological therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and second and third wave cognitive-behavioural therapies.
I have several years of experience working with different client groups across various settings in the NHS, the private and the charity sectors.
I have worked with issues such as those listed below, and I recognise that there are many possible overlaps between them. This list is based on my training and experience, but it is not exhaustive. I have lived in a few different countries, and, as a linguist, I have had a lifelong interest in languages, and multi-cultural belonging. I can work in French and in English. I have a good command of Spanish, and some understanding of German.
